Christmas In Heaven

Have you ever thought
About how at Christmas time
We miss those most we love
And long to be with them

At Christmas time
The time when we celebrate
Peace on earth and joy that our Savior was born
Yet it is sometimes the saddest time

But look what we got
We got the darling Son of God
Who came to us as a tender Babe
He was born to die so we could have everlasting life

Peace love and joy and hope
So when we are saddest we can rejoice in knowing those we love
Who trust Him as Savior
Are having Christmas in heaven with Jesus

Someday we will too
And isn’t it wonderful
To have heaven in our hearts!
Knowing Jesus is Christmas to me!
