We are not bound, you and I
With anything but thoughts
Expressed only by our words,
Yet I have known your spirit
Since the beginning and it is pure.
We are free, you and I.

Free to express our very souls
One to another without fear
We respect, trust and love one another.
We demand nothing,
Yet stand ready to give everything.
Our hearts are free

And we are friends.
